Volley源于澳大利亚，始于1939年，Volley品牌的诞生远早于耐克和阿迪达斯，起初专门做网球鞋。Rod Laver，Evonne Goolagong，Mark Edmonson等网球明星都曾穿着它叱咤赛场，Volley也随之名气大增。但因早前的澳洲品牌不太喜欢在宣传推广上大做文章，Volley的知名度自然比不上同类型的美国品牌，不过相较之下Volley的性价比非常高。In 1939 an Australian footwear institution was born when Aussie tennis legend Adrian Quist won the Davis Cup in a pair of borrowed boat shoes. Inspired, he took the shoes back to his job at the Dunlop Rubber Factory and went about emulating the boat shoes’ unique ‘herringbone’ grip in a shoe purpose built for tennis. The Volley was born, and became the tennis shoe of choice for a dynasty of Australian tennis champions.
